If you are looking for a top-class turf performer at middle distances coupled with the pedigree of a top-class stallion prospect I have the horse for you: TELLING.

A son of pre-eminent sire-of-sires A. P. INDY, this handsome multiple Grade One stakes winner just retired with earnings of more than US $847,000.  Conqueror of most of America's best turf horses in the last three years TELLING hails from a Blue Hen female family.

His dam, the DEPUTY MINISTER mare WELL CHOSEN, won the prestigious Ashland S.-G1 at Keeneland at age three.  The next dam, by SECRETARIAT, produced a talented graded stakes winner; the 3rd dam (by MR. PROSPECTOR), foaled three graded stakes winners (all on turf).

TELLING is inbred 3 x 3 to the great SECRETARIAT

TELLING bucked shins in the summer of his two-year-old year so didn't start until age three.  He placed in his first two starts (both sprints) then won his third start at a mile early the next year.  He then won his next two starts at one mile on the dirt in his usual stalking style. When switched to the turf he swiftly advanced into stakes company.

As you can see from his attached pedigree TELLING won the Grade One Sword Dancer Invitational S. at Belmont Park on the grass in 2009 and 2010. He defeated the very best turf horses in America, including champion BETTER TALK NOW and other Grade/Group One winners  BRASS HAT, GRAND COUTURIER (GB),  NEVER ON SUNDAY (FR), INTERPATATION, ACCLAMATION, etc.

A grand looking horse at 16.1 hands TELLING is a near-replica of his champion sire, A. P. INDY. Any stallion owner would be proud to show this horse to his most discriminating clients.

KENNEDY (DEPUTY MINISTER - LOVELY REGINA)

If you are as enamored with sons of A. P. INDY as I am, and are on a limited budget, I strongly urge you to closely examine the winning three-year-old colt KENNEDY.
A $1,450,000 Saratoga sales yearling, KENNEDY is sired by the iconic A. P. INDY out of a graded stakes producing half-sister to champion and leading freshman sire BERNARDINI. That makes KENNEDY and BERNARDINI three-quarter siblings.
As you can see on the attached catalog page KENNEDY was produced by the DEPUTY MINISTER mare LOVELY REGINA, who also her produced the graded stakes winner of more than $750,000, THISKYHASNOLIMIT. The second dam, CARA RAFAELA (Quiet American), won the Grade One Hollywood Starlet as a juvenile---but more importantly produced the exquisite champion three-year-old colt BERNARDINI to the cover of A. P. INDY.
As we all know BERNARDINI is the clear heir apparent to his sire. He not only sired two Grade One stakes winners in his first crop, now three, he has sired numerous other graded placed horses this year. KENNEDY placed in his only two starts last year as a two-year-old, and broke his maiden in January at one mile. His recent retirement came as a bitter disappointment to his owner who considered him a top prospect.
A marvelous looking animal at 16 hands KENNEDY very closely resembles BERNARDINI in type and appearance. They are both strikingly handsome dark brown horses with lots of quality.
Take advantage of this great opportunity to own the closest living relative to America's up-and-coming superstar stallion in BERNARDINI.
